Today we are in Seward, we arrived yesterday from Homer and the trip was about 180 miles. It was a pretty nice easy drive with a few rough spots in road but considering the roads we have been on lately it was a pleasure. The campground we spent the night in "Bear Creek" has by far been the worse! Owner acted like we were a bother and with what appears to be a trailer park behind us with lots of noisy kids and barking dogs. I went down and asked the owner if the dog was going to be barking all night and she asked me 'What Dog' Nuff said. So we turned the fan on the ac on and drowned out the dogs and kids. Got up at 6:45 and turned off the fan and guess what was still barking :-/ so suffice to say we would never recommend this campground. We will move to another tonight.

Today we are going on. 7-1/2 hour boat tour of wildlife and glaciers, wildlife could be anything from birds to whales and glacier watching could include 'calving of glaciers' which is when pieces break off and fall into the ocean from the constant movement of them. The tour also has a prime rib and salmon buffet on it :-). Weather should be nice, it's overcast now but suppose to change to partly cloudy and 69*

On our trip here we were lucky enough to see a total of 7 moose with 5 being grown and 2 being babies, one was trotting alongside the road and just about turned in front of Terry and Dale's motorhome! Brown shorts all around please! Most were just a last minute glimpse and too quick to catch n camera. Deanna just barely got a shot off on this one.

Back from our boat tour with Major Marine Tours, what a fantastic time! We saw way more than I expected. It started out with a humpback whale which is pretty elusive to get a good shot of but I tried, I did get one coming up and several tail shots. Next was killer whales running in a pod, they were much easier to photograph as were sea otters and sea lions. I did get a whale breaching the water.

Got a nice shot of two eagles fighting midair.
