Death Valley Day 2

February 5th, 2022 Saturday

Saturday’s adventures took us to a borax operation from the late 1800’s, had some old wagons that the material to the plant using a 20 mule team which you have probably heard of in the past.

Then it was off to the Natural Bridge which was pretty cool, pictures can speak for themselves, it was a mile and half up a dirt road by jeep then had to walk about another .3 miles to the bridge. The carvings from the water is awesome.

Then on the way back we went through the Artists Palate drive, a nine mile drive though some pretty incredible canyons though not tall but just neat to be curving through them.

Note to self, buy gas at Stovepipe Wells $5.01 since gas at Furnace Creek is $6.97! 

There is also an Inn here or oasis so to speak if you have $600 a night to drop.
