We left the Crater of Diamonds this morning around 9:30am. Knew we were gonna lose an hour coming back to eastern time but no big deal. We made about 430 miles today and have about another 160 to go to Crossville Tennessee. Pretty easy drive, found a Passport America campground (for those who don't know that is a membership that gives you half off on campground fees) in Dickson Tennessee about an hour west of Nashville.
On the way here we passed 3 semi's carrying the rotors of a windmill. WOW, they are huge! We were driving so I had a hard time getting a good pic but as you can see in this picture the size of the thing and this is probably only half of it!

Wednesday we went back to the diamond fields and they were plowing it. Someone was following the plow and found a 1/4 carat diamond! Just like that! We didn't do so well LOL! We processed (7) 5 gallon buckets of dirt and only got some quartz, Jasper and more barite. Maybe next time. Field was pretty busy in the morning but became pretty vacant by the end of the day.

We left around noon to get some dinner, I fixed Ribeye steak and potatos grilled in butter.
